We were asked to create a full scale artifact that interacted with specific parts of the human form. We were to work in three person groups.

My group quickly decided to build an artifact with intrinsic value and ritual. While washing my hands one evening I noticed the complacent nature of this ritual. We decided to create a multi-stepped ritual of hand cleansing. We wanted the ritual to feel ancient and everlasting, to help provide for this we chose concrete as a main material. We have the user kneel on a smooth concrete dais and wash hands in a concrete bowl.
